This utility page will, when it is complete, provide a JAVASCRIPT routine that when provided two valid Gregorian Dates calculate the # of days between them. This will not leave out any days at all, no matter that they are weekends, holdiays, or otherwise. Invalid dates will be flagged and not accepted. The following table shows results for a few sample date pairs. Please note that the same date, or dates for two successive dates will result in zero (0) days.
| Date 1 | Date 2 | Days Between |
|---|---|---|
| March 20, 1998 | March 20, 1998 | 0 |
| March 20, 1998 | March 21, 1998 | 0 |
| March 21, 1998 | March 20, 1998 | 0 |
| March 20, 1998 | March 22, 1998 | 1 |
This ulility will eventually allow for the # of days to be represented as # of Years, # of Months and # of Days. A follow-on calculation will be to allow for a date and a # of Years, # of Months and # of Days (before or after the date) and determine what the relative date would be. For Example a person born on 1/1/1990 would be 16 and a half (16 Years, 6 Months) on 6/1/2016.
